![]() ![]() ![]() The van again was noisy and had warning lights on. NOT GOOD ENOUGH Our second journey was on the 11th July and was similar the real highligh was the driver getting pulled over by the POLICE and warned about their driving conduct. in arrival at our hotel the driver got out helped us out with the bags and i handed her a $5 tip (this was what all the advising websites told us $1 per bag) now the driver knew we were from Australia and Knew we just arrived in the country and maybe didn't have a handle on the tipping system so instead of educating us she walked up to me handed me the money back and said "this is an insult, your journey is a $100 trip and you should tip me at least 20%" the she said $3.00 is terrible.( i did give her $5 but she didn't even check) now this was what my wife and daughters heard from there first American and it shocked them to the point were my daughters talked about it for days. All of this does not add up to a 2 star rating what does is the following. The actual journey was a little nerve racking as the driver was speeding the entire way on the highways, this seams to be the norm in America though, the vehicle was very noisy, and had warning lights on indicating issues with the car. 4th July we were picked up from LAX to Anaheim the driver seamed pleasant, we shared the shuttle with another family, we waited at another hotel for 15 min as there was another group booked on our shuttle as well. On the 4th July, 11th July and the 15th July. On our recent trip to the USA we were booked with Karmel Shuttles for 3 transfers. They never contacted me about the problem either. Never use them again based on their customer service at the beginning. For the return trip the driver was there on time and everything was O.K. I thought that I would get a discount or some money back. I told the driver the story and he said he would take care of me. I felt sorry for the other people in the van as it was full. I told him No and that I told the 1st guy that I was in terminal 1. He then asked if I was at Delta in Terminal 2. I told him that was a lie and told him about the 2 that I saw. He told me that the driver went by 3 times. About 15 minutes later another van came by and I hailed it down. 25 min later I saw one of their vans drive past and did not stop at terminal 1. I was told not to go over the first road and stay at the curb for pickup in 20 minutes. When I got into the luggage area I called them.
